To help pastors in Vineyard and "friends of the
Vineyard" churches to have their works published. This applies in
particular to new authors.
To distribute Vineyard publications through local churches. Our aim is to
assist local church book tables and bookstores to carry works written by
the authors we have published.
To influence the reading public through books that reflect kingdom
theology and Vineyard values.
To provide books at affordable prices.
VIP operates under the same international board as Vineyard Bible Institute. The two
structures operate in synergy. Books published by VIP are used as course material for
VBI. Courses written for VBI can become VIP publications. VBI is a non-profit body
corporate. VIP cannot be non-profit constitutionally, because it trades in books.
It is therefore registered as a Closed Corporation. However, the vision and understanding,
as submitted to the international board, is to be a non-profit body. Any real profits
will be used to fund other Vineyard projects. The annual financial statement of VIP is
submitted to the board. The board provides guidance on policies, theological content
and authors.
